Richard Routt teaches finance and economics for Spalding University. He has been teaching for over 20 years in higher education. Richard’s professional background includes working as a corporate trainer in healthcare and the emergency medical field. He served in the United States Navy as a field medical corpsman for the Marines. Richard Routt has earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Economics from the University of Kentucky, an MBA from Sullivan University, and MS in Hospital Administration from Capella University. He is ABD in financial management from Northcentral University and earned a certificate of Management Studies. Richard’s passion is teaching. He has been a BSA Scout leader for fourteen years and instructor for American Heart Association for over 20 years.
