Admission Requirements

Wherever you are in the college process, we welcome you. Spalding offers [free transcript evaluations] so that you can determine exactly where you are on the journey to earning your bachelor’s degree.

Qualification for automatic admission to Spalding University as a transfer student depends on a few factors, starting with your number of transferable credits.

• Have you completed fewer than 24 hours of transferable credits at a college or university? If so, you must meet the First-Time College Student Admission Criteria found on our [Undergraduate Admissions] and [Online Admissions] pages.

• If you have completed 24 hours or more of transferable credits at a college or university, you must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.

If you do not qualify for automatic admission, we still encourage you to apply. Our undergraduate admissions committee considers the entire student profile, so you may still be eligible for conditional admittance. 

Next Steps

1. Complete a free online application.
2. Submit all of your college transcripts.
3. File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Spalding’s school code is 001960.
4. Once admitted, Spalding Admissions will contact you to set up an advising appointment to register for classes.
5. Attend Orientation to prepare for your Spalding experience.
