Accelerated / Second Degree Programs: designed for adults who already have a bachelor’s degree in another field OR a specific type of licensure to earn a second bachelor’s degree in an accelerated format.

Combined / Dual Degree Programs: designed for students who want to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in a combined format.

Do you have a bachelor’s degree in another field and want to earn a BS in Accounting? Spalding’s second degree program will empower you to achieve your goals. Graduate in half the time (or less!) of a four-year bachelor’s degree program as you complete just 72 credit hours instead of 120 hours.

This program helps occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) earn a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. Students in this 86-hour degree program can graduate in three-quarters of the time that the four-year BS in Health Science takes.

Designed for registered nurses (RNs) who want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, this 48-hour program is attainable in as little as one year. Students can transfer up to 90 credit hours with an active, unrestricted RN license and an associate’s degree or diploma in nursing. 

Attainable in just 13 months, this program is designed for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in another field who want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Special features of this program include a dedicated success coach and access to the Bailen Health Science Simulation Learning Center.

Combined / Dual Degree Programs

These dual degree programs allow students to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s level degree in a consolidated and accelerated format.

This 3+2 dual degree program supports high-achieving undergraduate health science students at Spalding University. In just five years, such students can earn both their Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree and Master of Science in Athletic Training degree. Benefits to the program include early admission to the MS in Athletic Training program and earning up to 35 graduate credit hours as an undergraduate student.

Earn both a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science degree and Master of Science in Athletic Training degree in five years through Spalding’s 3+2 dual degree program for high-achieving natural science students. Benefits to the program include early admission to the MS in Athletic Training program and earning up to 35 graduate credit hours as an undergraduate student.

Through this 3+4 dual degree program, high-achieving students at Spalding University complete their Doctor of Physical Therapy in just seven years from the beginning of their undergraduate career. Earn up to 31 graduate credit hours as an undergraduate and enjoy early admission to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Spalding University’s partnership with Sullivan University offers Bachelor of Science in Natural Science pre-pharmacy students at Spalding a 3+1 pathway for beginning their first year of pharmacy school during their last year of undergraduate study. Benefits of this program include a guaranteed interview with Sullivan’s School of Pharmacy and reverse transfer of credits for students who pass their first-year pharmacy courses (one year) at an accredited pharmacy.

8-Week Classes

Spalding University’s eight-week class format offers a flexible, accelerated path to a degree—ideal for busy students and adult learners. Transfer Credits

Students who have already earned an associate’s degree or more than 24 hours of previous college credit may be eligible to transfer up to 90 hours toward their Spalding University degree.
