How to Apply

Complete your application.

Provide required documents, including:

  • Academic transcripts from all secondary schools, colleges or universities attended. Any international credits need to be evaluated and translated by WES, ECE, Academic Evaluation Services, NACES, Spantran or GCFNS International.
  • One of the following English Proficiency Test Scores or equivalent measures of English proficiency:
    • TOEFL: 79 or higher (iBT)
    • IELTS: 6.5 or higher
    • Duolingo English Test: 105 or higher
    • ACT English Sub-score: 18 or higher
    • SAT I Critical Reading: 450 or higher
    • AP: English Language and Composition: 4 or higher
    • IB English and Literature exam: 5 or higher
    • Complete two consecutive years of full-time high school in the United States, or a high school where English is the primary language of instruction, with a grade of C or higher in English. Official transcripts required.
    • Complete two consecutive years of full-time university/college in the United States, or where English is the primary language of instruction, with a grade of C or higher in the equivalent of ENG 109 or ENG 110.
  • Proof of Financial Support via certified bank statement or affidavit of support to demonstrate the ability to cover tuition and living expenses.
  • Copy of Passport opened to the biographical page.

Receive Your Admission Decision

The Spalding University Admissions Office will review your application once we receive all required documents. We will notify you of your admission status via email. Email admissions@spalding.edu with any questions. 

Apply for Your Student Visa

Upon admission to Spalding University, the International Student Services team will work with you to apply for your F-1 Visa or transfer your records from another US institution.

    International Student Support Services

    At Spalding University, we are committed to care. We will walk with you toward success every step of the way. Our International Student Support Services include:

    • Orientation for International Students, where you’ll be introduced to campus resources, fellow international students and the academic culture in the United States.
    • Immigration Advising such as assistance with maintaining your F-1 visa status and guidance on OPT, CPT, and SEVIS compliance.
    • Cultural and Social Events that celebrate heritage and tradition while fostering cross-cultural understanding.
    • Academic Support through tutoring, advising and workshops.
    • Health and Wellness Resources including on-campus health services and wellness programs.
