On-Campus Housing
First year and students age 20 and under live in Spalding Suites, our on-campus residence hall, featuring suite-style floorplans with priviate bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a shared living space and fully equipped kitchens either in-suite or on a shared floor.
Dining
You’ll have multiple dining options on campus—residential student room and board includes a basic meal plan with the option to upgrade, and commuter students may also purchase a meal plan by semester. The Dining Commons is open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the campus Deli is open every afternoon and evening.

Off-Campus Housing
While not required, upperclassmen and graduate students have the opportunity to live in off-campus Spalding-affiliated housing through City Properties. A variety of residence floor plans are available and properties are conveniently located next to campus.
Residence Life FAQs
Yes!
Students can request to live with specific individuals, but both students must submit a mutual request. Housing assignments are based on the date your housing form and deposit are received, as well as roommate preferences and availability.
Each room is fully furnished, but you’re welcome to personalize your space with décor, small furniture, or storage items — as long as they meet safety guidelines. You’ll want to bring sheets, towels, room decor, lamps, and other personal items.
Every room comes with a twin bed (that can be bunked, lofted, or lowered), a desk, and wardrobe closet. Suites include in-suite bathrooms, and most have full kitchens. Students on the third floor have access to a shared kitchen and lounge.
All Spalding housing includes air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and utilities at no extra charge.
Yes, on a limited basis. Room rates vary by room type, so contact Residence Life directly to discuss a single room.

Yes! Laundry rooms are located on the second and third floors of the Suites.
Each residence area has Resident Assistants (RAs) . They’re trained to help with everything from roommate issues to maintenance requests.
There’s always a Residence Life professional or RA on duty, even during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The Spalding campus is secured 24/7 by Campus Safety, with keycard access to residence halls and professional Residence Life staff on call at all times.
