Jason Ashby has over 20 years’ experience as a physical therapist, primarily in outpatient orthopedics and home health care. He has been an educator for over 10 years in both PTA and DPT programs. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s in exercise physiology, Cleveland State University with a master’s in physical therapy, and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Doctor of Science in physical therapy. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist, a certified lymphedema therapist, certified in the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine and extremities, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. He is a member of the Ohio Physical Therapy Association Continuing Education Committee, and a member of the International Federation of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists Advisory Group on Membership Development.
