The Aspiring Leaders Program prepared me for my current work as an assistant principal in a multitude of ways. First, I was able to connect and network with like-minded leaders in JCPS because of the cohort-style approach. This provided me with colleagues who are also new to the position, allowing us to collaborate, consult and learn from each other. I spent a lot of time with my classmates and I continue to use those connections in my daily work.
