You can use this degree as a stepping stone on your path to future study for principalship or administration, or select elective courses or work towards your endorsement.


  • Choose between three endorsements or one specialization
  • English as a Second Language Endorsement: 30 credit hours and 60 field experience hours
  • Instructional Computer Technology Endorsement: 30 credit hours and 60 field experience hours
  • Reading Endorsement: 30 credit hours
  • Competency-Based Learning Specialization (non-endorsement): 30 credit hours and 160 field experience hours

Our Master of Education in Teacher Leader curriculum develops advanced skills in classroom teachers. Curriculum includes courses such as Professional Learning for School Transformation, Leadership for Instructional Improvement and Assessing Learning for Student Achievement. Students also engage in a capstone project.
