Program Pathways and Concentrations
The Bachelor of Science in Natural Science offers two pathways that lead to graduate study and six concentrations that prepare students for further specialization.
This 3+2 program allows you to earn both your bachelor’s and your master’s in five years. You’ll begin your graduate study in Spalding’s Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program while you complete your bachelor’s in natural science. As a natural science major at Spalding, you will receive preferred status when applying to the MSAT program.
Our pre-pharmacy 3+1 pathway provides a reverse transfer of credits to pre-pharmacy students pursing their pharmacy degree. Spalding’s pre-pharmacy students who successfully complete all of their pre-requisites at Spalding University (three years) and pass their first-year pharmacy courses (one year) at an accredited pharmacy school may be eligible to retroactively earn their bachelor’s degree in natural science from Spalding University. Additionally, a unique partnership with Sullivan University in Louisville, Ky., provides pre-pharmacy students the same 3+1 pathway plus a guaranteed interview when they apply to Sullivan’s pharmacy program.
Students can select a concentration that prepares them for further graduate study in a specialized field.
